I once read some feminist literature in school about how the color yellow is a symbol of crazy. I don't know what that has to do with your painting, but I really like it. It's simple, personal, and very universal.
Some have said that about yellow (as in "The Yellow Wallpaper"), but I have always found it to be a rather comforting color...a little bit of buttery glow to bring us through the darkest season, yes? Glad you like the drawings!
EHH, "content, content" is one of my favorite examples of your work. when i win the lottery i want to buy them. you are a phenomenal artist.
Candace you are too kind; your high opinion means so much- thank you!!
YOU ARE A ROCK STAR! and don't forget it. do you remember the postcard that you gave me when you 'interviewed' for ALC? i framed it and it looks grand! so i think of you often....i'm a fan for life.
